Virtual Career Exploration
for 11 grade students
Ready to be inspired? JA Inspire Advanced is here to launch students into their future!
JA Inspire Advanced is a virtual, interactive experience designed to introduce 11th grade students to a world of career possibilities. Throughout the spring semester, this platform will bring together leaders from the business and education communities, creating an immersive environment where students can explore exciting career paths and gain valuable insights into their future.
Before they log into the virtual fair, students will receive materials and resources to help them prepare and understand what to expect, ensuring they’re ready to make the most of this experience.
During the interactive virtual platform, students can dive into 5 regional career journeys:
- Farm to Table
- Design to Production
- Injury to Rehabilitation
- Studio to Stadium
- What’s Next?
Each pathway offers students the opportunity to interact with real industry professionals in the region, discover unique career paths, and learn about the skills and education needed to succeed. These exhibitors, who will also join the in-person expo for 8th graders, will share their expertise with the 11th grade students and help prepare them for entering the workforce.
After students participate in the virtual platform, reflection and follow-up activities allow them to reinforce their learning, consider next steps, and make informed decisions about their future career and education paths. This is a chance for students to expand their horizons, connect their interests with real-world opportunities, and start planning a future that excites them.
